Fees:  You are expected to pay for the sessions at the end of each session. I do not provide monthly billing or insurance billing. If at any time you have financial concerns do not hesitate to discuss them with me. In most cases, financial concerns can be resolved.

Hypnotherapy is a professional service that involves a relationship with a seasoned practitioner who is there solely to understand you and help you deal effectively with your issues and grow into your own.  A self-help book or an occasional workshop may cost you much less in time and money than Hypnotherapy.   However, studies have indicated that although education (such as a workshop or a book) can be extremely helpful, clients report better results when they participate in longer term, rather than shorter term, therapy.

So, you need to decide whether you are ready to invest a certain amount of money each week and invest a certain amount of time - in which we would be working together

In addition, clients contribute their readiness by attending every session. The frequency of visits differ from client to client, but most people start therapy by scheduling one session per week. You need to bring a willingness to talk  about your thoughts, feelings and behaviors.  The work you do in and between sessions is the another important part of your investment in Hypnotherapy. 

Please note that phone appointments are considered fee paid sessions and you will be billed accordingly.  Any client with pre-pay hours can use their pre-paid hours for phone sessions and will be billed at the agreed upon pre-paid rate for all services/sessions. 

Phone coaching is a recognized service and will be billed at the agreed upon rate as listed at the time of service.

Other Fee Related Policies:

Cancellations: You will be charged for all cancelled and rescheduled appointments with the exception noted below.. Periodically I will have to cancel session, if this occurs I will notify you promptly so that we can reschedule our session. You will not be charged for these cancelled appointments.

Returned Check:  Any client whose check is returned and unpaid for any reason  will be charged an additional $45 for administrative fees in addition to the amount on the check and bank fees.  In the event an amicable settlement cannot be reached , any such check and additional charge will be submitted to the Clark County Courts in Vancouver, Washington, for all legal remedies available.

Effective Hypnotherapy does take a commitment on both sides. I have found over the years that the more consistent (and sometimes frequent) the client is in attending their sessions, the greater and quicker the progress. Likewise, when I agree to work with a client, those times are reserved for that person and I don't give those hours to someone else. Occasionally you may request to reschedule your appointment for the following week, and if I have another time available, I will be happy to change your time. However, if I have no other times available, you will be charged for the missed session.

Failed Appointments:

As a client in our clinic, it will be your responsibility to keep scheduled appointments. The clinic will require notification of cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the appointment or earlier if possible. This can be done by calling our clinic at 360-604-7000.  Sometimes there are emergencies and we do consider those individually. 

The clinic will consider a "failed appointment" at any time a client has not given the advanced notice required above or has failed to arrive within 10 minutes of their appointment time. When a client fails two appointments in a 6-month period, the clinic will no longer schedule appointments for that client.

Failed appointments jeopardize the ability of Academy of NLP & Hypnosis to provide appropriate care to clients.  In that light we have instituted a failed appointment fee. 

By scheduling appointments with our Hypnosis Clinic, you have agreed to attend all scheduled appointments in a timely manner.  Failure to cancel your appointment will result in being assessed a failed appointment fee.  This fee is due when billed, or at your next appointment which ever comes first. 

The failed appointment fee schedule is as follows: 

All failed appointments will be charged at the normal hourly rate or the agreed upon set fee for services with no discount for student fee status.

Example:

v      Sixty-minute (60) appointment - $100 with no discount for student fee status.

v      Ninety-minute (90) appointment - $150 with no discount for student fee status.

Failing two scheduled appointments in a row or three appointments within six months will result in a scheduling hold for Hypnosis Appointments being placed on your account.  This means you will not be able to schedule appointments with the Academy of NLP & Hypnosis.  This hold can only be removed by presenting in person at the Academy of NLP & Hypnosis and all outstanding fail-fees must be paid at that time. 

If you continue to fail appointments, termination of care will end the responsibility of the Academy of NLP & Hypnosis to see you as a client. 

LATE ARRIVALS:

If you arrive late to your appointment, you will still be required to pay the full session fee regardless of how much time is left of your scheduled appointment.
