What is a Life Coach?

Life Coaching is a form of consulting, but the Coach stays with your process to help you implement the new skills, changes, and goals to make sure they really happen. The coach provides you with tools, support, and structure to achieve more in your life than you might be able to do on your own.

 

My role as your Life Coach is to help you move beyond limiting and self destructive ways of thinking and help to foster your authentic interests and calling. I support you to become empowered by your own self. I act as a partner to: teach, inspire, focus, guide, support, encourage, advise, explore, discover, define, identify, clarify, design, and facilitate your finding the wants, needs, and values in all areas of your lives.

Four Coaching Areas of Focus

1. Resolving problems, negative patterns and painful experiences. As adults, we create our experiences based on the core images we hold about ourselves and the world. Frustrating, negative or dysfunctional patterns ultimately derive from false assumptions that do not reflect the deepest truth of yourself or your life. These need to be brought to awareness and changed.

 

2. Working on yourself in relationship. Issues or problems that manifest in relationships are effectively explored and resolved in that context. Relationships offer probably the best place for facing, exploring and developing yourself.

 

3. Gaining a clearer and more articulate awareness of your intrinsic nature, qualities, concerns and purpose. We cannot create a fulfilling life unless we know who we really are and what we want -- not just what we "think" we want or need.

 

4. Creating and realizing a specific life project that is an expression of your deepest self. This entails both fulfilling your individual potential as well as acting for the collective or planetary good.

Coaching is a natural part of life

It is a powerful alliance between two people that produces exceptional results.

The normal fee for Coaching can be as high as $600- $800/month.

Commit to at least 3 months of coaching and receive:

  • Results Coaching work one-on-one
  • Coaching sessions are conducted in scheduled 30 to 35 minutes per week on the telephone. (You call at a pre-arranged time)
  • 5 minute check-in between scheduled calls, as needed
  • Email Coaching between scheduled calls
  • During the first coaching consultation the Results Coach uses a sophisticated process to help the client set three goals in the three most important areas of their life.
  • Ongoing sessions then provide structure, feedback, perspective and encouragement to assist the client to achieve their goals as quickly and easily as possible.
  • Coaching is a unique conversation that will examine closely what it will take to move the client towards the goals they've created.
  • During each session the client will commit to taking actions for the following week.
  • When meeting the client again, the coach discusses the obstacles faced and the insights gained as a result, then helps the client set new actions and develop new habits to achieve the results they want.
